This is normally when I post a Sunday Recap, but this is really a Weekend Recap...
- Anslee got home Thursday night. 5 nights away is a looong time for me.
- We went to see "Prince Caspian" Friday night as planned. But because Andy's baseball game got moved from Thursday to Friday (he had a huge base hit, by the way), we had to wait and go to the 10:45 pm show. It's a great movie!
- Thanks to all who picked up the Duck Derby signs. Advocates for Children is a great organization in this community and Tapestry is happy to help them.
- The music was really great this morning! As always, James David Carter brings so much talent and has a huge desire to help us all connect with our Father. Mike Hines played guitar at Tapestry for the first time, and he and his family stayed for our picnic. It was great getting to know them.
- Speaking of the picnic, we had a blast! This was one of those "living room" environments that help us get to know one another and just hang out together. Thanks to Tammy Evans for getting us organized, thanks to all who provided and helped, and thanks to all who helped us tear down after the service so we could get out there.
- Remember, no matter what your intentions are or how good they might be, it's direction, not intention, that determines your destination!
